Alan Mantin is Managing Director, Development, Southern Europe and is responsible for the development of Hilton’s brands in 11 European countries. Alan works closely with owners and development partners to bring new hotels to: Italy, Slovenia, Croatia, Montenegro, Albania, Kosovo, Greece, Cyprus, Malta, Israel and Cape Verde.
Alan started his career in sports sponsorship and advertising, working for clients which included Mercedes Benz, Diners Club and GIV. He went on to gain international experience working in Barcelona for Spanish group Agrolimen, where he became Marketing Director for EMEA and then Director of the company’s International Division.
Having joined Hilton in 2001 as Regional Marketing Director for Italy, Alan’s role grew to cover Scandinavia, Eastern Europe and the Mediterranean and in 2006, he joined Hilton’s rapidly expanding development team to oversee the company’s growing development pipeline in Southern Europe.
